New at WCA: Music Supplies Now Available in Partnership with Pellegrino Music Center

Wayne Center for the Arts is excited to announce that music supplies are now available for purchase at our front desk—thanks to a new partnership with Pellegrino Music Center!

For over fifty-five years, Pellegrino Music Center has been a trusted name for musicians across Northeast Ohio, offering top-quality instruments, repairs, lessons, and accessories from their family-owned store in Canton. This collaboration allows WCA students and community members to conveniently purchase essential music supplies right here in Wooster.

With the closing of Larry’s Music, WCA has stepped up to meet the growing musical needs of our community. Under the leadership of Music Coordinator Beth Negro, the program has flourished—offering lessons in strings, piano, voice, woodwinds, brass, percussion, guitar, and music composition. “It’s wonderful to hear the sound of lessons filling the building,” says Beth. “We now have nearly 60 students each month, and it’s such a joy to see the program grow.”

WCA’s new in-house shop carries reeds, cork grease, slide and valve oils, strings, cleaning kits, a variety of music books and more—all available for purchase at the front desk. Plus, every sale directly supports the WCA music program and its continued expansion.

Looking ahead, the music team is already planning for future growth, including the addition of music therapy offerings next year. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned musician, there’s never been a better time to make music at WCA!
