Behind the Curtain is a new collaboration between Wayne Center for the Arts and The Lyric Theater designed to connect area youth and community members with the professional artists, musicians, directors, and filmmakers who come to Wooster to perform and present their work.

Through collaborative conversations, participants have the opportunity to go beyond simply watching a performance or film and learn directly from the people who create them. Depending on the visiting artist, a workshop might invite young musicians to bring their instruments and play alongside professionals, give aspiring filmmakers an inside look at storytelling and cinematography, or offer a candid conversation about creative careers, education, and life as a working artist.
