Celebrate an early Halloween and join WCA Presents friend Theron Brown and his ensemble for an evening of jazz standards and new arrangements. Theron Brown, a master of the piano, a dynamic band leader, and a passionate educator. His journey in music transcends genres, creating a tapestry of sound that resonates with audiences from New York to Tokyo. Offstage, he’s equally committed, imparting his love for music through teaching and enriching his community. Theron’s world is one where music serves as a bridge, connecting hearts and inspiring minds.

Led by violinist Andrew Sords, this all-star ensemble will perform works by Robert Schumann, Clara Schumann, Brahms, and others. The ensemble is comprised of musicians from many of Ohio’s classical music organizations including the ENCORE Chamber Music Institute, The Cleveland Orchestra, and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Join us for the first concert of 2027 as violinist Chad Hoopes returns to WCA Presents with pianist Dina Vainshtein to present a dazzling program of works by Fritz Kreisler, Antonin Dvorák, and Bach.

Violinist Jinjoo Cho, pianist Hyunsoo Kim, and cellist Max Geisler return to Wooster for an exciting residency that brings exceptional artistry and musical insight to the community. Founded by Cho, the ENCORE Chamber Music Institute provides pre-professional musicians with intensive learning experiences alongside outstanding artist-teachers and cultural thinkers. This residency continues ENCORE’s tradition of bringing inspiring chamber music and world-class musicians to Northeast Ohio.
