The Levitt AMP Wooster Music Series Begins with Sons of Mystro

The first-ever Levitt AMP Wooster Music Series kicks off on Wednesday, May 27 with a performance by Sons of Mystro, a duo known for transforming the violin into something energetic, unexpected, and seriously fun to experience live.
If you’ve never heard violins woven into hip-hop, reggae, pop, and R&B before, this is your chance.
But beyond the music itself, this night is really about creating a space for people to gather. A place to bring a lawn chair, stretch out on a blanket, eat something good, listen to live music, and spend a summer evening with other people in the community.
The concert takes place on the front lawn of Wayne Center for the Arts at 237 S. Walnut St. in downtown Wooster. Lawn seating opens at 5 p.m., and music begins at 6 p.m.
Hey Chicky food truck will be on-site, along with lawn activities sponsored by local businesses. Beer, wine, and other beverages will also be available for purchase. Guests are welcome to bring outside food or pack a picnic if they’d like.

One of the things that makes the Levitt AMP Wooster Music Series special is that it’s designed to feel easy and accessible. There are no tickets, no dress code, and no pressure. Come for the full evening, or stop by after work, or just bring your loved ones to dance on the grass.
Everyone is welcome.
The concert is free and open to all ages.
Parking is available behind Wayne Center for the Arts, with additional downtown parking within walking distance. Guests are asked not to use the United Way/Catholic Charities parking lot, as it is reserved for their clients.
This concert is presented by Bowman Beverage and is part of the inaugural Levitt AMP Wooster Music Series, hosted by Wayne Center for the Arts and presented by Wooster Color Point in partnership with the City of Wooster and IdeaStream Public Media.
Bring a chair. Bring a friend. Stay awhile.
