Julie is originally from Wadsworth and did not start her dance career until she was 23, while attending graduate school at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY.  It was there she discovered her passion for dance and did not stop training for 10+ years.  While starting her training in hip-hop (and many other genres), she found Jazz to be her true love.  She became a principal dancer with PMT Dance Company in 2013, where she performed throughout Manhattan, upstate New York, and Baltimore.  She has performed in music videos, NBA and WNBA halftime shows, as well as live TV, specifically NBC’s “Today Show”.  Julie’s teaching experience includes teaching young girls hip hop at Groove With Me in Harlem (2012-2017), as well as teaching Adult Jazz at PMT Dance Studio in Manhattan (2015-2020).  Julie is a firm believer that you can achieve your dreams at any age through hard work and perseverance!
