May 28 – Mo’ Mojo

Mo’ Mojo is a spontaneous, uplifting, and kid-friendly “Pardi Gras” band that seeks to create a sense of community through dance.
This female-fronted group defies genre labeling by incorporating many sounds from Louisiana, including traditional and original Zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans Blues, New Orleans R&B, and Mardi Gras music.
Mo’ Mojo’s songs range in subject matter but ever present is the idea of connection, exemplified by titles such as “Together in Love We Drown,” and “We All Got the Same.”
One of NEOH’s longest running bands (since the mid 90s), Mo’ Mojo has performed at festivals, concert series, clubs, and dances across the U.S.
The band has served as U.S. State Department musical ambassadors, sharing their value of community and connectedness all over the world.
June 11 – Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S Band

Carlos has been entertaining audiences for over 35 years throughout the eastern half of the United States, first as a member of the roots reggae group “I-Tal”, and then with the legendary “First Light”, before finally pursuing a solo career with his current group – the Peace, Love, Unity Syndicate (aka “The P.L.U.S. Band”). Choosing to focus on bringing a positive message with his music, Carlos has continued to win a diverse group of new fans everywhere he plays.
With headline performances at Cleveland ROCKSNYEVE, Jamaica’s ‘JamRock 2010’, Idaho’s ‘Marley in the Mountain Fest’, Wade Oval, Painesville Party in the Park, Warren Amphitheatre, Springfield Amphitheatre, and the Midwest Reggae Festival to name but a few, Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S. Band will be rockin’ the house with their unique brand of high energy “put yer dancin’ shoes on” reggae.
July 23 – Benny Lava & the Guavas

Formed in the vibrant music scene of Akron, the band’s story began when Benny Lava, a charismatic front man with a voice that could move mountains, decided to assemble a group of talented musicians who shared his passion for pushing the boundaries of sound. The result was The Guavas, a collective of individuals with diverse musical backgrounds and a shared vision of creating something truly special.
Benny’s vision was to create a sound that blended the best of soul, rock, jazz, and world music, with lyrics that spoke to the human experience in all its complexity, touching on themes of love, self-discovery, and the ups and downs of life. Benny Lava & The Guavas have crafted their own distinctive sound that’s as soulful as it is infectious. Their music is a sonic journey that takes listeners on a ride through passionate ballads, groovy jams, and high-energy anthems.
Known for their electrifying live performances, the band has garnered a devoted following in Akron and beyond. Benny Lava’s commanding stage presence and the tight-knit chemistry among The Guavas make every show an unforgettable experience, leaving audiences craving more!
August 13 – The British Invasion

The British Invasion is a tribute band that recreates the exciting 1960s era when British rock bands, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, and The Who, took over the American music scene. Starting with The Beatles’ arrival in February 1964, the British Invasion covers a wide range of iconic English bands, from The Animals to The Zombies, faithfully reproducing everything from the music and hairstyles to the vintage guitars and equipment. A highlight of their performance includes a spectacular Sgt. Pepper Era set that transports audiences back in time.
With a reputation for their accurate and energetic performances, The British Invasion has thrilled crowds both in the U.S. and internationally, performing at legendary venues such as The Cavern Club in Liverpool and The Manchester United F.C. Trafford Stadium. They’ve shared stages with rock legends, including Terry Sylvester of The Hollies and Joey Molland of Badfinger, and even performed for the legendary Dick Clark on American Bandstand.
