Wayne Center for the Arts is the area's oldest and most comprehensive visual and performing arts organization. For more than 40 years the Center has made art and art education available to the citizens of Wooster and Wayne County.
Wayne Center for the Arts, in conjunction with the Northcoast Woodturners and Buckeye Woodworkers & Wood Turners, presents the Woodturning Competition and Exhibit May 16 through July 6, 2013 in its Roberta Looney and Stanley & Florence Gault Galleries. Over one hundred pieces of the woodturners’ work will be presented in addition to a special retrospective of three featured turners.
An opening night reception for woodturners and the general public will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. [more info]
Artfully Delicious 2013: A Celebration of Foods & Arts
Join us for an evening of great food, music, fine art and of course, a beer & wine garden! Local restaurants and beverage vendors are bringing their best items for you to sample. Purchase tickets for a dollar each and sample various items. All items individually priced in ticket denominations.
