Josh holds a B.A. in Theatre from Westminster College (PA) and an M.A. in Arts Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University where he was a Lawrence and Isabell Barnett Fellow in Integrated Arts and Enterprise. He most recently served as Executive Director for the Ohio Arts Presenters Network, and has over a decade of experience in management for both non profit and for profit businesses.
In addition to his education in theatre, Josh has a love for music and visual arts, having played numerous instruments and dabbled in many different artistic mediums. As a college student, Josh even attended the 1995 Functional Ceramics Workshop here at the Wayne Center as assistant to visiting Japanese ceramic artist Kouji Sugie. Most recently his artistic focus has been in music, with his primary instrument of choice being the banjo, playing in string bands across the Appalachian region of Ohio and Kentucky.
Originally from the South Side of Youngstown, Josh is excited to return to NE Ohio along with his wife, Megan, to help the staff of Wayne Center for the Arts maintain its mission to “enrich lives and strengthen communities through art.”
