Brian Sarama graduated from The Cleveland Institute of Art with his Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ceramics and Raw materials in 2009. While working toward his undergraduate degree he participated in a number of exhibitions including, but not limited to: NCECA: 30 years of C.I.A.; The Alumni Exhibition at Borelli Gallery, Pittsburgh, PA; and Art Helping Animals at MOCA in Cleveland, OH. He also received 1st place in the 2009 NICHE student award, a nationwide competition in the area of functional ceramics. Additionally, Sarama received his Masters of Fine Art from Kent State University in 2012. After graduating with his masters, Sarama served as an Adjunct Faculty member for The University of Akron’s Myers School of Art in 2012 and now teaches Ceramics at Cuyahoga Community College’s Eastern Campus, where he’s also the Ceramic Technical Assistant.
