Amanda Girvin, a Wooster native, grew up attending various classes at WCA. She received her BFA in painting in 2005 and since then, has explored many different art forms. She is a national art contest winner for her acrylic painting, as well as a wife and mother of two energetic boys that keep her moving. With a busy family life, lately her medium of choice has been creating digital art on her iPad. (You may have seen some of her illustrations around town.) She is looking forward to getting back to her roots by teaching acrylic painting this spring. To learn more about Amanda and her artwork, visit her at Local Roots Market, or stop by the WCA this spring and take a class with her.
