Dance Educators

Wayne Center for the Arts Dance Department is looking for energetic dance instructors for our growing dance department. Our current schedule includes classes from pre-ballet to pre-professional company dancers; we are seeking qualified dance instructors in ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, and more.

Qualifications:

- 2-3 years teaching dance

- Professional or college dance experience

- Ability to work with dancers of all age ranges, from preschool to adult

- Ability to teach Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theater or Modern/Contemporary

- Evening and possible weekend availability

Art Educators

Wayne Center for the Arts offers multiple teaching assignments at the Walnut Street School location, as well as outreach teaching opportunities throughout the community.  We are continually looking for educators who are enthusiastic about art to join our team and teach visual art classes for preschool and elementary age students as well as adults.

Candidates that love teaching and are responsible, reliable, and flexible are encouraged to apply. Good organization and classroom management skills are required. Familiarity with the Ohio Department of Education 2012 Visual Art Standards is helpful, and a BA in art education, studio art, performing art, or similar field is preferred. All experience is considered.
