The Ministry of Magic has decreed that, due to excessive dementor sightings, A DAY AT HOGWARTS will be rescheduled for Saturday, January 26th! Even most Muggles know that Dementors bring with them waves of icy cold and blowing snow, and last weekend’s attack was severe enough to cancel the planned Hogwarts Open House. We’ve sent out enough Patronus Charms that the area is now safe and warm again, and we’re delighted to report that all activities will occur as planned one week later.
We’re also glad to report that we still have room for more young witches and wizards, so you can still register if you were too busy tending to your injured hippogriff last weekend. Our house elves are busy preparing for a magical event: decorating the building, transfiguring supplies, and making sure that Fluffy doesn't escape the third floor corridor.
