The Pre-Professional School of Dance consists of four levels (A-D).  Students are evaluated individually and placed into the level where they will benefit most. Classes consist of ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, variations, and master classes.  Performing opportunities give students the chance to develop their artistic and technical skills.  Wayne Center for the Arts presents three session performances a year, a biennial Nutcracker, and additional local performance opportunities throughout the year.

Students wishing to participate in the Wayne Center Ballet Company must take all ballet technique classes and either pointe, pre-pointe, or boys dance class within their level and one additional class listed in their level. This is necessary for the effective cross-training of dancers. The tuition listed reflects the total cost for all classes in each level. Students may also take unlimited classes below their level at no additional charge.  Placement is required for registration into these levels.  To be placed in a pre-professional class, please contact Kimberly Payne, Dance Program Coordinator at 330-264-2787 X217.
