Take a journey into the world of Abstract painting where we will be pushing our boundaries to let the creativity flow. This no holds barred class will help you to break from the constraint of representational art and get a better understanding of the process of paint application. We will look at artists such as Kandinsky and Pollock to help guide us on this fantastic trip. Taught by Shane Clutter

If you are a doodler and love to sketch, you will enjoy learning how to create caricatures. We will start with profile drawing and move through upside down drawing techniques to contour drawing. Finally, we will learn to focus on facial features to create these humorous depictions. Taught by Jake Nelson

Learn how to sculpt animals and people in, and out of, pottery. WCA staff member, Adam McVicker, will  introduce students to his trademark vessels which combine the functional with the fantastic.  Hand-built or wheel-thrown, pots are the basic building blocks for the beautiful works we will create. Build animals into, and around, your pieces; transforming them into a decorative hybrid of sculpture and ceramics. Taught by Adam McVicker
