Spring 2015 Ballet Program Begins January 5th
(17 Week Session)
PreBallet I (Ages 4-5)
These classes introduce children ages 4 and 5 to basic positions and vocabulary in preparation for further ballet study. Students will learn basic technique through carefully graded rhythmic exercises developing poise, flexibility and grace.
Section A: Monday 5:00 – 5:45 p.m. (January 5 – May 4)
Section B: Monday 7:00 – 7:45 p.m. (January 5 – May 4)
Section C: Tuesday 5:45 – 6:30 p.m. (January 6 – May 5)
Section D: Thursday 5:00 – 5:45 p.m. (January 8 – May 7)
PreBallet II (Ages 5-6)
Students must complete a minimum of two sessions of PreBallet I before advancing to this level. Continuing study of ballet terminology through fundamental movement and classical steps. Careful attention is given to the mastery of basic locomotive movements, rhythm, strength and flexibility.
Section A: Monday 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. (January 5 – May 4)
Section B: Tuesday 6:45 – 7:30 p.m. (January 6 – May 5)
Introduction to Elementary Ballet (Ages 6-11)
Classes are designed to introduce the student to the discipline and terminology necessary to progress to Elementary and Classical Ballet levels. No previous experience is required.
Thursday 4:45 – 5:45 p.m. (January 8 – May 7)
Enrollment into the following ballet program classes is assigned by ballet faculty and prior experience is necessary. If you would like to enroll in these classes, please call 330-264-2787 x201 for more information.
Elementary Ballet I – III (Ages 6-11)
Classical Ballet Levels I-IV & Advanced A & B (Ages 9-18)

If you have registered you or a family member for a class at WCA in the last 3-5 years then there is already an account in the registration system. To log into this account for the first time you will need the log in username and password provided by WCA. Please contact the Wayne Center for the Arts for that information. If you have never registered for a class; you can create a new account.
Please note that only Visa and Mastercard will be accepted online. If you are using Financial Aid or a Scholarship to pay for class tuition you will need to register at the Wayne Center for the Arts front desk.
