Ohio Woodturners Annual Show

August 17 – September 6

Looney & Gault Galleries

Opening Reception

August 17th    6:00-8:00 pm

Join us for Northcoast Woodturning and Buckeye Woodturning & Woodworking organizations’ annual display of craftsmanship. Woodturners use a wood lathe with hand-held tools to create works of art from a variety of woods.  Like the potter’s wheel, the wood lathe is a simple mechanism which can generate a range of forms limited only by the imagination of the artist or craftsperson.

Mary Pfeiffer Memorial Photography Show

September 14 – November 4

Looney & Gault Galleries

Opening Reception

September 14th    6:00-8:00 pm

View a lifetime’s worth of photography by Wayne County native Mary Beechy Pfeiffer.  Never aspiring to become a professional, nevertheless, Mary’s natural talent and keen eye, as well as her ability to record life events using “friendly stealth,” sets her work apart.  Her love of nature and her ability to catch people not necessarily looking their best, but being their best engages all who view her work and elevates the human experience.

Looney & Gault Galleries
