Patricia Lanious

Patty brings over 20 years of experience in the arts, having worked in a variety of capacities and for a myriad organizations. She has been the Assistant Production Manager for Syracuse Stage, Production Director for the University of Illinois Department of Dance, Operations Manager for the Waukesha Civic Theatre, and Box Office Assistant for Sunset Playhouse, among others. Prior to working at the Wayne Center for the Arts, Patty spent a decade at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Over the course of that decade, she worked for every department in the organization and most recently served as Director of Operations.

Patty holds a BA in Communication Arts/Theatre from Allegheny College, and MFA in Theatre Design & Technology/Lighting from Northern Illinois University, a professional mini-certificate in Program Planning & Evaluation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and is completing her certificate in non-profit management from the University of Illinois-Chicago. She is also an adjunct instructor at OSU-Mansfield, serves on the Ashland Arts Committee.  Patty volunteers for No Pawz Left Behind and in her spare time, she likes to read, dabble in photography, take art classes, enjoy the outdoors, walk dogs, travel, and work as a freelance lighting designer.
